Meeting Recipients

Over the past decade, self-funded AWEF board members have made the trip to meet these girls and have worked to empower them through workshops, collaboration, and support. 

​In July 2019, several Board Members and others funded their own travel to meet some of the girls we support and to visit their schools.  We also met some of the families of our students and met teachers, and the AWEF fund administrators.  Our respect for these girls grew by our experience.  We continue to be uplifted by the enduring friendships we formed.

All of the proceeds raised go to these girls. It is amazing to see the impact this organization makes.
